Upgrade service

Hi,
I wanted to ask if a paid upgrade service is available for mods for hesk?
There was a problem I faced in the latest Hesk original (with mods for hesk) released recently, and had to end up reinstalling the whole thing from scratch. It would be good to know if an on-demand upgrade/installation service was provided like they do in the case of Hesk.
Thank you.

There is no paid upgrade service available, as it is a direct violation of JetBrains' Open Source License, which Mods for HESK currently has for development:

So if a business is using mods for hesk and something gets messed up, we are looking at a considerable downtime. That for an active ecommerce website is a huge risk.
Hesk (original) does paid upgrades but Klemen won't touch anything with mods for hesk and Mike does not do paid upgrades due to legal repercussions.
Double jeopardy for users.

Unfortunately yes, I don't know all the changes that Mods for Hesk applies so I cannot provide an update service for it (I could dive into it but don't have the time as I am preoccupied with existing projects).
However, you can always hire an independent PHP developer for help, for example by posting a project to

That is the risk assumed with any software. I personally test each installation / upgrade on my own instance of HESK / Mods for HESK, as well as the demo site before releasing the update to reduce the number of possible issues. Also, the majority of users are able to update without any issues. If you're concerned about an update, I recommend copying the helpdesk you use in production and run a test update; if everything goes smoothly, update your production instance.
I try to help as much as I can on these forums, so long as (1) I am following the terms of the JetBrains Open Source License and Atlasssian Open Source License and (2) it is within the scope of my support.

This is such a good quote it needs to be shown again:

Also, I never run a live update without a full backup first (files + database). It's so much easier than that "one in a thousand" case when you regret not making one.
