I'm adding a message to an existing ticket, along with an attachment.
The attachment(.png or .xls) will appear in the attachments folder just fine.
I however, see no attachment IN the message thread..
Am I missing something dumb?

Works fine in the original HESK (http://www.hesk.com/demo/ticket.php?track=7X6-64P-NZS3), maybe a mods for HESK issue?

The attachment viewer is working fine for me on the demo site (ticket EM9-S3Z-LHAE at https://mods-for-hesk.mkochcs.com/demo/ ... 9-S3Z-LHAE). Make sure that the uploaded attachment is for the correct ticket and the proper hesk_attachments record appears in the database for the uploaded file name.

hmm welp, you're onto something because I'm not seeing my row count increment in the : hesk.hesk_attachments table

I do see the items popping into the directory..
Just nothing appearing in the ticket..

Small question: when you upload attachments to a ticket, do you see a message saying "Drag files here or click the 'Add File' button below to select files to upload", or do you see a basic file upload box? I don't think there's anything wrong with the legacy attachment uploader, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Once I enabled the attachments option, I then got a box under the Message box, for attachments with the text:
"Drag files here or click the 'Add File' button below to select files to upload."


So, I think the answer to your question, is "yes"..

Also, just found out that when we now try & add an article to the Knowledgebase, it sends us a blank webpage, and doesn't add it.
I can however, add a new Category in the KB..
ugh...

oh, I think I see where Knowledgebase items are also stored in the "attachments" folder..
so, yeah makes sense why that doesn;t work as well..

Enable debug mode in your settings and try adding an article again. When you get your blank page, does any debug text appear?

Also, I'd recommend upgrading from PHP 5.3. 5.3 reached end of support back in 2014. I recommend running either PHP 5.6 or PHP 7.
