There must be, I suppose, many people like me who are complete amateurs but have managed to develop quite a successful non-commercial web site. I have installed mboard for my club juniors but would really like to give the system the same look and feel as the rest of my site which was produced using Dreamweaver and Front Page.

A quick look at PHP script tells me that it's far beyond my meager skills.

Would it be possible, for example, to include mboard "within" my standard web pages which includes, for example, a Javascript menu ? Alternatively, could I (perhaps using the header.txt file) add the background colours and images used on my standard layout.

If this is beyond the scope of this forum then I completely understand but if anyone can suggest a way or point me towards an information source, I would be grateful.

For info, the URL of my site is http://shropshiresailingclub.co.uk and the location of mboard is http://shropshiresailingclub.co.uk/mboard/mboard.php

Best Regards, Brian

Brian,

You can use the header.txt and footer.txt to insert plain HTML code into MBoard and thus completely customize the look and feel of your MBoard.

Please read old topics (also in GBook forum which uses the same principle) as there has been a lot of discussion about customization. You will also find a few examples of how good some people managed to integrate MBoard into their design.
