Write your message below:

As per this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3988

When I looked at the header.txt and footer.txt files on my server, there's nothing in them. My guestbook seems rather "bare", but I'm not really sure what it's supposed to look like actually. It's okay the way it is, but it would be nice to be able to customize a bit. I did some edits to the css file, but nothing happened. Any thoughts? Thanks, randm

Hello randm,

The guestbook is very bare on purpose. No items there that do not belong to it.

The header.txt and footer.txt files are empty by default.
You can add html code to these files to make the guestbook fit more in your website. And also the style.css file in the template folder.

But I have seen in your other post that you use an inline frame. That makes that basically there is no need for you to use the header.txt and footer.txt files.

Greetings,
Henrie

When installed your guestbook should look like this (but without any messages, of course):

http://www.phpjunkyard.com/gbook

If it doesn't look like that, something is probably wrong with the installation. Post the URL of your guestbook so we can check.
