Hi,

I currently have 3 categories (2 new categories and the standard General category). I have setup email fetching from my exchange server which works fine. My question is twofold: How can I remove the 'general' category. It is not needed. How do I make all email received go to one of my new categories I created? Currently all new tickets created via email end up in the general category.

Thank you

Hi

You need to edit "general category" to one of the 2 categories that you have created.
Then you can cancel one the one left:
example
a) general category
b) info
c) support

edit a) general category >> info new
cancel old "info" category
then redit "info new" and change to "info"

Regarding email someone more expert then me will let you know

Can't you just delete the info category (or support), and then rename the general category to Info? Then all new support tickets will go into Info.
