Version of script: 2.4.2

Write your message below:

When staff replies to support ticket, at bottom of last (reply) ticket there is a notice "Customer didn't read this reply yet." my question is:

Would it be possible to add a icon to admin Home page that indicates customer has read ticket? This way, one knows right away, looking at the list of all "open tickets" which tickets have been read -or not read. Is there a mod/hack for this?

Thanks for any reply/suggestion you may provide.

I see what you mean and yes, it would indeed be a nice thing to have.

However, the problem is this would complicate database queries (or require an additional query for each ticket displayed in the list) to the extent that large databases could have problems with it.

So, doing it properly would require modifying database structure (to track if a ticket has been read in tickets table) and is unfortunately not something I can help with.

Hello Klemen,

Yes, it would be a great mod and is something everyone could benefit regardless of their other help desk needs, a small gif bullet would not take up too much column space.

I was hoping it might have been a small mod which could be implemented right away but you know best, however I do thank you Klemen for taking the time and responding to my post, I am sorry that it is now that I see it, perhaps I have to setup notifications in the forum settings or subscribe to the thread, but thanks, it's appreciated.

Ahhh...subscription to post at footer area :D

BTW, one great support desk!
