how can i show next to the link that i want to track how many times it has been clicked or how many times a file has been downloaded?
like this file has been downloaded "212" times

i want to display that on my site for visitors to see.
whats the html code to display that?

In the downloaded zip-file is a readme.htm file. Read it at the part >> Displaying number of clicks on a link under 2. There is an example given there.
