I need my users to enter Username & Password before they can access the customer inferface

We do that on our Help Desk. It is tied into a secured section of our website which requires authentication.

Your other option is to set each user up in Hesk and dumb down the permissions within Hesk.... not quite the way Hesk works but it is an option.

HESK was designed specifically for the purpose NOT to require customer usernames and passwords.

From my experience customers are fed up and tired of having to use a username/password combination for every website/service, hence Hesk was designed to be as user friendly as possible and not require any login by the customer.

I do understand this is something some users require, but unfortunately not supported by HESK (at least not at the moment).
