Hesk 2.4 force users to update time worked before resolved

With the new time worked feature, it is crucial to me that this is accurate, I find myself and other users constantly forgetting to update any extra time spent on a ticket with my old time spent custom field.
I am using this thread for my testing and implementing of some sort of javascript or redirect that forces the user to update time spent before marking a ticket as resolved.
I have not started nor do I have a general idea on how I am going to accomplish this yet.
