2 helpdesk entry pages

Let me try to clarify.

We are working for 2 types of customers. One is resellers (of our services), the other are customers of the first.

So I would like to have 2 different helpdesk "home" pages.
eg www.mysite.com/endusers and www.mysite.com/resellers

reason is that we could then set it up so that resellers have different fields and categories to fill then end users.

Of course all tickets should arrive in one central console.

Is there a way to do this?

Many thanks

No, HESK can't work like this. You would have to manually modify files to use the same database but exclude/include categories/fields for each of the two copies.

Such modifications are out of the scope of my support.

I think I understand you correctly.

Why not just run two separate / different instances of Hesk, connected to the same database?

You would have to keep all the custom fields / categories & users the same across both instances, but you could totally redesign the interface for either instance.

The problem is in his "different fields and categories"

Fair enough, that would require some source code edits. That Klemen, so wise :D
