Size of DB

We are investigating whether or not to use Hesk at our small organization.

One of the initial issues we need to figure out is the size of the MySQL database. We may have a limit (1 GB) per database. If we were to approach the limit, would we start deleting items -- or would we have to start over with a new database?

Unless you expect hundreds of thousands of tickets you shouldn't worry.

Here's a real-life example I just checked for you: a HESK database with over 70,000 tickets and 160,000 replies weights in about 132Mb.

Another small one with 1200 tickets and about 3800 replies is less than 4Mb.

And if your business explodes to 1,000,000 tickets you will surely be able to afford a dedicated server with XXXX GB space for databases

Thank you for your reply. I feel better about fitting into those constraints. Unfortunately - our budget isn't tied to use.

We will be downloading and testing this solution in the upcoming weeks. Thanks again!
