Hi,

I have a version Hesk database on one machine and have installed 2.3 on another machine. What is the best way to get my data from the 2.2 Hesk into the 2.3 Hesk? I was thinking of exporting the 2.2 database from mysql and then importing it into mysql and then following the install with the upgrade information. I ahve not checked if the mysql versions are the same. If there is a better method can someone please let me know.

The database structure has changed since 2.2 so you have to do it the other way around - copy 2.2 to the new machine then update it to 2.3.

How do I uninstall 2.3? Just remove the hesk folder. And then copy the old one and do an install?

Yes, remove the folder and delete the database, then copy version 2.2.
