Hidden Custom fields

Is there a way to add something into a ticket without the customer seeing it?

I need to have a ref.no. displayed in the ticketlist
Before it can display the ref.no. it has to be submitted into the form first.
Therefore i need a hidden field that i can submit into the ticket.

Im not sure if i makes sense to you but this is what i kinda need.

Basically what im saying is: i need to add something to a ticket in one way or another without the customer seeing it.-)

You would have to enable a custom field and then modify the code that handles displaying of custom fields to print this custom field as a hidden field.

I'm afraid such customizations are out of the scope of my support, you might need to hire a programmer - try www.vworker.com

Thats what ive done...it works too with a little bit of imagination.
I just thought maybe there was an easy way-)

Anyway...i think users should be able to be in full control off all the fields.
