Any idea why knowledge base management is not available?

Has anyone experienced the Knowledge base management not working? I've got the script (awesome) installed and everything works fantastic except when trying to manage the knowledge base on that tab nothing shows at all. The navigation bar shows knowledge base but when clicking it nothing shows up to manage it or add to it. I've gone back and reinstalled the script. I've reloaded any file within the script that has anything to do with knowlege base (manage_knowledgebase.php) and still nothing. Any ideas?

Try enabling Debug mode in the settings and see if you get any error messages.

Also upload the phpinfo.php file to your server, you will find it in the "read this before posting a question" topic.

Thanks so very much for the reply which helped me figure out that Lenox based servers are case sensitive and I needed to rename a couple files. The TreeMenu.js and TreeMenu.php files had been uploaded all lower case and needed the file renamed to include the capital letters so the server could read them.That helped get the KB working but now that I'm working on getting the KB articles input I realized that I only have areas for New KB Articles and New KB subcategories but no way to manage (edit or delete) an article that has been submitted. Any ideas there? Thanks again for you help.

If all is working fine you should have a list of KB categories on the top of "Knowledgebase" page. Click the "Manage" link next to the knowledgebase category to see a list of articles and buttons to manage them.

Much thanks to stevea7777. This was actually a difficult issue to track down, it should probably be in the main KB or fixed in the code. I mean it's only an issue that's been around at least 5 years :wink:

All the original HESK files are included in the correct case and have always been (even the hesk.com server is Linux where case matters).

You might want to check your Zip and FTP program settings, you probably have a "convert to lowercase" setting enabled somewhere.
