Email link not working

Version of script: 2.2

What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
email, link, unable to open

Write your message below:
Our problem is that the link which is stated in the email to our customer fails to open. Same goes for an admin ticket.
"You can manage this ticket here:
http://www.mydomain.com/Hesk/ticket.php ... resh=58139"
The only way to see the ticket is to go to http://www.mydomain.com/Hesk/
then "View existing ticket" and enter the Ticking Tracking ID by hand.
One of the things I notice (but that's me...) is the link in the adress bar which is the same as in the email except for the Refresh number.
Anyone had this problem and was able to solve it?

You will need to post an actual test link for us to test it, view response headers etc... to be able to find the problem.

Before doing that you can double-check that the "help desk URL" setting is 100% correct (make sure it doesn't end with a / ) in your admin panel > Setting.

Problem solved!

After some help from Klemen (outside the forum for reasons of security) I have found the problem (thanks Klemen). Rather stupid, but that's why we are testing.

If you are not using DNS you need to make sure that the IP adress in the Hesk URL settings is the correct one.
So 63.xxx.xxx.xxx is NOT the same as 62.xxx.xxx.xxx

I have compared these a few times and failed to see the difference (must be my age) :oops: .
