Dear friends:

I've tried to install the lastest version of Hesk (2.2v), and in the 3th. step, the installation says:

MySQL said: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

I've checked and searching in Google, and I have obtain the response: http://www.digitalpeer.com/id/mysql

And now... the problem are:

- My hosting provider has MySQL version: 4.1.22-standard-log
- I'm not have any troubles with other scripts.

It's possible modify any files or any code in the Hesk files to this script working?. Not seen harded to solved this... or it's more complex?.

Thanks!

PS: Please excuseme if the post containing a bad sintaxis, but the english isn't my original lenguage.

This is a server-side issue and is not something that can be fixed within Hesk. You will need to contact your host and ask them to update your MySQL settings/passwords (give them the error and the link with the solution). You should also check what version of PHP you are using and update to latest.

Just in case it helps you can try creating a new MySQL user and database just for Hesk and see if that works. If not your host is your only option.
