Nope, not at the moment. It is on my "to do" list and I will have a look into e-mail piping sometime in the future.

Is there any update on this ? Having tickets submitted by email is really a feature we need (we have lazy clients, I know
and as we have developped scripts that pipe incoming emails to generate an SMS alert to us, I wondered if it would be that hard to implement that feature for Hesk...
Not to sound presomptuous mind you, I know all this is hard work. And then there would be spam to deal with, so I guess having the "from" and subject copied in the admin email would be usefu so that we don't open up the Hesk admin section for a Viagra seller or a Nigeria dictator widow...

Hi,
E-mail piping is definitely something I will add to Hesk in the future, but probably not in the next release. If you wrote such scripts in the past then it shouldn't be too hard to write a (temporary) piping script yourself

When you put that feature in one of the next releases it will be a lot easier for me to seperate all these spam shit out of my mails.

Hi everyone,
I have been using Hesk for about 16 months now and it has been an absolute godsend for me. But too many emails are escaping the system and because we have many staff they are often not replied to or they are replied to in duplicate (if we have forwarded mail accounts).
My question is, has anyone found a temp / reliable solution to email piping?
Do we have a rough eta for this to be a regular feature (i know the next release dosen't have it)?
I am on the verge of signing up to Kayako to get this sorted (osticket is appalling and hesk is the only free script i can reply on).
If anyone can help i would love to hear from you!

Hi,
True, Hesk doesn't have this planned for the next release. There are just too many important things that need to be considered first, like blocking spam and parsing HTML e-mails.
If you need the e-mail piping features you might really want to have a look at a script that already has it implemented.
