And another one question:Why does the links automaticaly, without my permission are added in my directory, how can I change this to check the submitted sites first?
Thank you very,very much!

Hello Helen,

You mustn't removed the powered by link without a license, see here:
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/copyright-removal.php
If you buy a license (in my opinion a symbolic fee of 10EUR (about 12 USD)) you are e-mailed a version without that statement and you don't need to edit anything.

As for checking links before they are included - this is not possible at the moment, but will most likely be in the next version.

Hi Klemen,

first, thanks for this great script. It is so easy to install especially for such anti php experts like me. ;)

secondly i would like to ask if the " Powered by Link manager LinkMan 1.02 from PHPJunkYard - free php scripts" can be customized to .. let's say "Powered by LinkMan 1.02 - Free Scripts"? I am asking because the original is just a bit long.

I customized it already to see how it looks like but i surely will reset it if that's not ok.

Thanks for your reply!

Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,

I'm happy you like the script.

As for modifying the Powered by link - unfortunately no, you may not do that unless you purchase a license. If I let you do it I have to let everyone do it  It's true that the link is a bit longer than usual but since it's a links page it shouldn't stand out much as other links will be even longer.

Sorry for that, but it is the only thing I require in exchange for this free script :D It helps me promoting my site and scripts and I believe it's a fair trade for all the work I've put into this.

Hi Klemen,

thanks for your response.

I already changed it back to what is was and no prob at all. I thought i might ask. You never know! :D

I hope there gonna be a new version out at some stage where it adds new pages automatically. Any news on that?

Anywho ... this script is exactly what i was looking fo. Easy to set up and to administrate. Well done! Keep up the good work! ;)

Kind regards,

Thorsten!

Actually I have a script under development which will be like a much improved version of Linkman (categories, multiple pages per category, MySQL database, ...) but I have no idea when I will have the time to finish it as I have so much other work at the moment I can hardly find the time to work on PHPJunkyard. I also don't know if it will be a free script or require a small fee.

Keep visiting phpjunkyard.com from time to time or subscribe to the newsletter and you will be sure to find out when new versions and new scripts are out :)
