Hi I am not the dev but I can answer your first question till he gets back to you, this script is meant to remain simple and easy to use it doe's not let you set cats. however it has many other great features as you may have seen but cats is not one of them.

Please ask your collegue what it would cost to build it in. Or is there a possibility to use the script on multiple pages of the same site in which case there would be no need to build in categories

Like DC said, categories are not supported by LinkMan. Modifying the script to do so is not something I can help with at the moment (too much other work, as always...), but I do plan to develop a MySQL version with categories supported at some point in the future.

You could install several copies of the script on the server as a work-around, for example one copy into each folder:
yourdomain.com/education/links.php
yourdomain.com/internet/links.php
yourdomain.com/automotive/links.php
...

I know some users did this in the past and while it's not a perfect solution it does the trick.

Hallo

I don't speak Dutch, but from what I read from Google Translate I can say: no problem, feel free to modify it in any way to fit your needs. The only thing that I don't allow is removing the "Powered by" links without purchasing a license, other than that you can customize the script to fit your needs as much as you want.
