PHP back link page parse problem

Hi, Klemen -
Thanks again for the great script.
At:
http://www.fundableplans.com/business_r ... /links.php
using linkman v.1.02
and PHP v 4.3.2
on a leased server
Linkman parses this page:
http://directory.promopeddler.com/index ... pp=20&cp=2
and says "no back link" to fundableplans.com when one does exist.
My site is running your script with about 80 links in 12 separate subdirectories and this is one of only a few pages that it doesn’t properly parse (so no big deal), but, any idea why?
Regards,
Dave Miller

Hi,
Does the script check that the to and from domains are the same when it runs it's "check links" routine from the control panel? Reason that I ask is I added link #19 from the control panel (to bypass the "to same as from domain" restriction). When I ran check links:
Checking link N. 19...
-> Link URL:
http://www.promopeddler.com
-> Reciprocal URL:
http://directory.promopeddler.com/index ... pp=20&cp=2
-> Opening and reading reciprocal URL
LINK NOT FOUND!
Removing link ...
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Checking link N. 20...
-> Link URL:
http://directory.promopeddler.com
-> Reciprocal URL:
http://directory.promopeddler.com/index ... pp=20&cp=2
-> Opening and reading reciprocal URL
A link to
http://www.fundableplans.com was found!
As you can see, your test link passed and the same reciprocal was not found on the other.
Thanks again.

Hi,
No, the script doesn't check for same (sub)domain when makin link check from admin panel. Can you give me password to your admin panel so i can check this out from inside? You can send me a private message or e-mail it to info@phpjunkyard_NOSPAM_.com (remove _NOSPAM_)
Regards
I have the same problem

Thank you for the free script! And thanks in advance for taking the time to help.
I have somthing of the same thing happining.
Even though the reciprocal site has a link on their home page.
When it checks links sometimes it doesnt find the link and it displays their e-mail adress.
Is there a way to disable this so it doesn't show their e-mail address to the world?
I have read the whole forum and readme gone over the config file
am I missing something?
Thanks Again

Hi,
can you give an example of a site that has a link but Linkman doesn't find it?
Keep in mind link must be EXACTLY the same as the one in settings file. So if you have "
http://www.yoursite.com" in the settings then they must have the same link, having "
http://yoursite.com" (without "www.") will not work.
As for displaying e-mail address, not sure what you mean? No e-mails should be displayed in the links.php page, but you can see e-mails from the admin panel.
ihave the same problem

Yes, when this site (http://gupsystargazer.blogspot.com)is added it finds the reciprocal link and all is well.
Then within 12 to 24 hours the site name and description are gone and all that is displayed is the e-mail address(on the page and on the admin panel) that was given on the linkman form upon submission.
If you go to her site she has the blogdumps button link on her front page.
This happens only to a select few, not all that are submitted.
My other site is wrongblog.com it has been on the linkman from day one and never has this happend.
I really don't care if they are deleted. I just dont want anyone mad at me for displaying their e-mail address.
All the best

Then something is wrong with your setup.
Have you been editing any of the Linkman files?
How many pageviews do you get per day?
How many links you have (I can't check, the URL you gave is not correct)?
