I just need someone to help me with which files to chmod, and how to do it. My host does not allow it being done using FTP - and i know nothing about php scripts.

Make sure that you CHMOD
clicks.txt and ids.txt to 666

You say your host does not allow you to do this via FTP, but really that is how you would CHMOD the files.
