Ability to Request and Insert Aditional Information

Hi All,

I have found that whenever clients submit a ticket that there are always additional information required. I have considered adding more custom fields, but that may scare clients off. So I need a quick ticket of just a few fields to address simple issues and then in some instances need client to file more detailed information.

I am sure that many have similar problems. Can somebody please help us on any of the following:

1. The software to allow us to upload a detailed questionare that is stored in one place on the server. That way using limited space. And then to click an available button that posts a message for clients requesting him to complete the more detailed form and once completed the form is stored outomatically as an attachment to the client ticket. [Thus no need to chop and change on custom fields].

2. Alternatively, to adapt software so as to client only complete a few custom fields and if need be client is then requested to complete a second set of custom fields that are more detailed. Which then updates the client ticket display.

3. Alternatively, Provide client with the option to submit a short ticket submission with lets say 10 fields or a long ticket with lets say 60 fields. Which is the case in my situation.

Summary: To acquire the ability to request and add additional information that will be saved outomatically into the database in the custom fields.
