Script URL: http://www.dc-baby.com/ccount/
Version of script: 1.2
Hosting company: Modwest
URL of phpinfo.php: http://phpinfo.modwest.com
URL of session_test.php: ??
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: syntax error, parse error, T_VARIABLE

I have been using ccount successfully for months, and now /ccount/index.php will not load. The page displays the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /htdocs/www/ccount/index.php on line 1
Thank in advance,
Noah

I believe this may be an issue with my web host, which is upgrading their shared hosting environment. I'll post again once I confirm either way.

It seems your host has added something to the top of all your PHP files which is breaking the code.

Site was hacked

Thanks for your response. It turns out a hacker gained FTP access and messed with a ton of PHP files. I believe it to be some kind of black-hat SEO spyware operation. I will be reinstalling ccount.
