Hi,

GBook uses the standard PHP mail() command, it is possible that your host has disabled it. Check with your hosting company/broadband provider and ask if they have the PHP mail() command enabled or not.

thanks a little reading and double checking things e-mail workig fine now, what I have noticed though with the reverse guestbook when I delete by pressing the red cross it seems to delete the wrong entry, well not the entry I have pressed. Maybe its me again but I have tested thius a couple of times maybe its to do with it being reverse.

Hi,

The "reversed" Gbook is not an official release and I haven't tested it, it is possible not everything works as it should

Yea think that's true sorry I saw a posting for it as I was searching and decided to try it, everything seems to be fine now, where is the control for the delay as I posted a test message but it said that I cannot post again in this session, I assume there is a default limit somewhere cannot see it in the settings menu.

Thanks

In the beginning I was getting email notification in mboard, but not any more. Nor am I getting any with gbook.

Am trying to find out if the PHP mail() command has been disabled, but I am getting email replies to another bit of PHP program where people fill in their details.

Have checked in both seetings and have my email address in correctly and the settings to '1'

Could there be any other problem?

Stuart
