[HESK] slight changes possible?

Hi folks,

Since Klemen was so effective in his support, I thought that i'd ask back here for help as a primary port of call. I've currently tweaked our ticket submission page to the following:

Which will enable it to be used by our helpdesk team to submit issues instead of a paper based logging system. So it is not actually customer facing.

Now I have a slight problem... as you can tell by the fields, I have used up all the columns for the ticket viewing screen, and we need a priority (Low-Med-High) system adding, much like was in the original. Is it possible to somehow add this, and for it to be viewable on the admin ticket view page?

Cheers for any help you can provide :)

Alternatively...

Is it possible to change what a non-administrator account can do within the admin panel?

I am looking to have 2 levels of accounts - admin (who has full functionality) and user (for our staff members) who can view other tickets but not delete them.

Is this possible?

Cheers.

Unfortunately adding more fields is out of the scope of my support, especially because I see you already modified some exiting ones.

As for the 2nd question: to prevent staff from deleting tickets try this fix:
viewtopic.php?t=1561&highlight=delete+tickets

A fully-featured escalation where you will be able to exactly choose what privileges has who of your staff is planned for the next version.

Can you tell us what procedure you did to change the forms?

We were trying to change the labels of the primary form from Subject To Invoice. But couldnt seem a way of doing it.

That should be a simple matter of going into the english.inc.php file in the ../language folder and locating 'subject' and altering the text there.
