i edited the files, uploaded them using the correct mode, then i did the CHMOD thing- but when i type the address www.mydomain.com/ccount, i get my 404 page from my server. any ideas what else i did wrong or missed?
*yes i actually typed my domain name instead of "mydomain" lol
actually if u want to check it out and see if i did anything wrong
www.allieb.com/ccount
thanks!
edited, uploaded, now error
The 404 error means "this page could not be found". CCount isn't installed in the folder you are trying to open. Make sure you type in the right folder name of CCount. On most servers CaSe MaTtErS, so "CCOUNT" isn't the same as "ccount".

while trying
www.allieb.com/ccount /index.php
I found that your server is sending it out as text instead of executing it.
contact your sys admin.
this means that your settings.php can be seen to and there goes your password.

"Guest" is right.
I see you are on Doteasy.com - are you using their free plan? I guess so, this pland DOESN'T support PHP, that's why the source code displays.
You will need to find a hosting company that supports PHP in order to be able to use PHP scripts. You will find a few here:
