I am simply trying to show dividers between guestbook entries. unable to do so. I have played with both the css file and the gbook.php file. Please advise.

The guestbook entries are already divided because they are outlined. So I do not know what you mean. What kind of divider do you want to show, what should it look like?

PS. What editor have you been using to edit the gbook.php file? It has placed some extra code in the gbook.php files which is now shown in your page. See the following threads to resolve this:
