Worked great this afternoon. Did some editing of the code, virtually all HTML stuff. Went out to dinner. When I came back, eager to put the script on line, and make my first entry, I started getting the "wrong security code" message. Moreover, every time I've tried it since (I've unrevised everything I had done and retried) the security code comes up as the same number every time (50560, if that matters). I'm pretty sure every attempt at posting an entry should return a different code.

Well if it worked great before editing the file then the first thing to suspect is you did something to break the sessions in GBook (the security image doesn't even show for me).

Try uploading the original gbook.php again, does it work then?

Yeah, Troubleshooting 101. It bothered me that I couldn't even resurrect it after undoing everything. Maybe I wasn't as thorough as I thought.

I did a reinstall and it's working again. I'm doing incremental revisions so I can spot the problem just when it shows up if it happens again.
