Did you copy old entries from:
a) previous version of GBook
- or -
b) from another guestbook script (not GBook)?
If a) try uploading the old entries file again as GBook posts are backwards-compatible.
If b) this won't work because virtually each guestbook (or other) script has it's unique database structure and just copying one to another will not work. You can't just copy/paste data from one guestbook to a completely different script and expect it to work.

Well if you can change your old file into this format:
NAME
tabFROM
tabEMAIL
tabURL
tabCOMMENTS
tabDATE
tab
then just pasting inside to GBook file should work.
tab = the Tab key (separates info)
If any info is missing (like e-mail or URL) you can leave it empty, but the
tab must still be there
For example (without URL and e-mail):
John
tabUK
tab tab tabTest comments
tabFeb 29, 2008
tab
- OR -
You could simply leave old entries in your old guestbook, disable posting new entries and add a link to the top of the new guestbook saying something like "Old guestbook archive". This way your old posts stay in the old guestbook and if anyone wants to read them they can click the link and go to your old guestbook.
- OR -
Do it manually
