Hosting company: Ipowerweb 3.0 platform
URL of phpinfo.php: http://cmcamper.com/helpdesk/phpinfo.php
URL of session_test.php: http://cmcamper.com/helpdesk/session_test.php
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: installation

Write your message below:

I had the old version running fine and Ipowerweb upgraded to a new 3.0 platform and I decided to go with the new hesk 0.9.4.1
Chmod the 2 files correct, uploaded in ansii and images binary.

Ok go to install it goes to the agreement screen, then next screen goes to all ok green test screen, then the next step 3 to install the database info screen when clicked takes me back to the agreement screen.
It goes round and round.
I removed and redownloaded a new copy same thing.
I am lost, this script is easy to install but I am stumped.
Is there a way to bypass that button and get on to the database info screen.
Hope this all makes sense, Try it the install folder is still there, see if you get to the DB info screen.

Your sessions aren't working properly. Contact your host and ask them to check PHP sessions.

If you have access to php.ini yourself you acn try changing session.save_path from /var/php_sessions to maybe /tmp or make sure folder /var/php_sessions exists and is writable by scripts.

Klemen, It was a 2 day battle of about 6 tries with my host, but after suggesting to them your suggestions, they finally got it working and it was probably from your suggestions.

I have bought you a beer!
You should see it in your account
Hope it is enought for a 12 pack, you deserve it.
You are tops!

It was worth the price of a 12 pack, hopefully the next problem if I should have one will be a harder problem and be worth a case.
Thanks again.
