Hi there,
Is there a possability to add my old guestbooks entries into the phpjunkyard guestbook? As it seems not to be using any database, i am very curious how to...
Have not installed the latest version yet.. but the readme file and all the forum entries doesnt answer my question.
Thanks,
regards
Jannes

GBook stores all posts in a text file (text database). If you know the database structure of your old posts and the text file structure of GBook then yes, you can do that.
If you don't know either of these two (the latter can be found from the code and was also posted here before) then you won't be able to do that. And because there are XYZ other guestbooks out there each using it's unique database structure (either text or MySQL or whatever) I can't provide support for how to import those entries into GBook.

Padmanabham, the problem is that virtually every guestbook script on this planet uses a different database structure. So unless you have the same old guestbook as Jannes he won't be able to help you.
