hi,
i've followed the instructions on readme, but for some reason the smileys aren't working.
when i click on the item, for example a smailey face it is meant to come up with but instead i get nothing. this is the case for any emotion.
please help!

It's a Javascript issue - they work fine if you access the forum from http://www.bathtab.co.uk/ but not if from http://bathtab.co.uk/ (without "www.").

If you are linking to the version without "www." then also set this version in your settings file (under $settings['mboard_url']).

so if i change all links from http://bathtab... to http://www.bathtab... then it should work?
is there any other way of getting round this as i do prefer to keep it as http://bathtab...

The other way around - in your settings file you probably have "www.", change it (in your settings.php) to the URL without "www."

so change everything so there's no www.

Exactly. All URL's should be the same meaning either all with "www." or all without "www."

Will see if I can do something to prevent this from happening, but it seems to be a security feature built into browsers.

although old posts need to be done manually by editing the old file - can't be bothered with that lol.
I was also wondering how the footer removal license works. would i recieve a new script in which case i'll need to reinstall everything or will it be done automatically online?
i was also wondering if you offer a discount for bulk purchases?

The license install for MBoard is very easy. You purchase the license, receive a license PHP file, upload it to your MBoard folder and that's it. The Powered by links are automatically removed, no need to reinstall or edit anything.

Note: the license doesn't remove footer links from any of the existing posts (same reason as with your problem - because they are static HTML), you would need to remove those manually. It does remove it from the main forum file (mboard.php) and any future posts.

The standard discount I offer is 50% off the price for each license after the 2nd one. Meaning you pay full price for the first two licenses and only half the price for any further license (3rd, 4th, 5th,... , 99th,...). The discount isn't applied automatically, feel free to contact me if interested.

the thing is i only have 2 boards now - both under the same domain name. will i need to buy 2 separate licenses, or just 1.
in the near future i intend to increase the number of boards. can you sort me out a deal.
also i've been looking around for the code to enable users to upload images when they post. i've made a suggestion about this in the addons but recieve no replies. any advice?
