I have used ccount twice already, with due acknowledgement and success. I'm now trying for a third usage on the site http://www.icecooltrailers.co.uk but each attempt to modify the clicks and ids text files is met with the message "file or directory not found".

Any ideas please?

All user files have to be in the directory "hdocs". Therefore, I have placed the "ccount" directory as a daughter to "hdocs".

Well, when I access the ids and clicks.txt using Cute FP Home, the permission reads 700. I change that to 666 and click on APPLY and I get the message "File or folder not found". That is my problem.

Well ids.txt is here:
http://www.icecooltrailers.co.uk/ccount/ids.txt

Not sure why you are getting that error but the file does exits, contact your host I can't really help you with that.

Are you on Windows server perhaps? In that case CHMOD won't work, contact your host to set the correct file permissions for you.

If you provided the info requested from you in the initial post that could have been cleared in my first reply  That info is required for a reason. Just a heads up for the next time
