Ok my question is in regards to the statuses that are currently offered.

Waiting reply (from customer or staff respectively)

, What I want to do is add different statuses in my implementation so that when clients logon they see things like:

pending receival
pc received
pc inspected
pc repaired or pc unrepairable
pc shipped (back to customer)
closed


I would like those 6 fields for the most part, and in those fields, the client won't be able to change anything it is just for viewing purposes only, and at the same time, the admin or technician obviously has the ability to update the ticket so that the client knows what is going on, and that they can login at anytime to see the status of their request.

Maybe something can be done with the statuses already there, and disable the way the replies interact with them, and then create a little radio box/sql command to set the current status to be updated into the ticket.

Let me know if you think you can develop this, how long it may take, or how much it may cost?
