Guestbook with aol

I noticed an error message is received when filling out the guestbook. This seems to only happen when using the AOL browser. is this common? I tried 3 different computer using AOL and the same error but it works fine in IE

I don't have the possibility to test with AOL, but I believe it works with proxies? Try setting junkmark limit to 90 or 100 in settings file and see if you can sign it (make sure you close all browser windows before testing).

Nope didnt work I set to 100 and I even set Junkmark ban to 0 for "no"

You disabled Junkmark and still get that error? You didn't close all browser windows beetween tests, did you?

Again make sure

Code: Select all

$settings['junkmark_use']
is set to 0, close ALL browser windows (including this one, or even better - restart your PC) and then try posting.

I originally set the junkmark_bann100 to "0" but didnt try the junkmark_use to set to 0

I did that - restarted and now able to post using AOL

You're able to post, but you have now disabled the advanced spam filter.

With junkmark_use set to 1 and junkmar_limit set to 100 it doesn't work??
