Email Admin?

I apologize for posting this in the wrong area earlier.
I just installed Hesk and it is everything I have been looking for (I have tested several programs already), but one question: as the admin I do not seem to be getting an email letting me know a ticket has been submitted. Should I be or is it not designed to do so?

Hi,
I was thinking of adding this feature also, will add it in the next release, probably this weekend. Let me know of any other suggestions you have.

I will look for updates. It is the only thing I can see I would need to use this for our site(s). I truly applaud this application. Set up is easy and it's not bloated with extras I don't need. Thanks!

Thanks.
I always welcome reviews, if you could write a short one that would be great (but not required):

Hi, Klemen Stirn
I must say this app is great and is working effortlessly. However one thing I did notice is that when a user submits a problem ticket - no emails are sent to the support staff and also the author?
Other than that the system works perfectly.
Seeing as the system is fairly new, I though of a nice additional feature - whether this would suit everones needs is something to be argued.
Would it be a good idea to have some kind of FAQ's page built into the sytem so that if a particular ticket is found to be usefull to other people coming to the support system then this can be selected to be displayed in the FAQ's.
Kind Regards
Deano

Hi,
Yes, that is something I plan to add to the next version. My hosting company had a major hard disk failure this weekend (phpjunkyard.com was unavailable for almost 24 hours) so I am kind of putting things together back, will probably write the next version in a week or two.

Feature Request: Additional Fields

It would be great to have an additional field, for example for a 'membership number' which could also be searched.
This would be useful when tracking requests.
Thanks for your consideration.

Membership number? Not sure what you mean, can you give an example?

Well, installed this EXCELLENT script on my webserver.
Works PERFECT.
Translated it for my company to german.
Works PERFECT.
Instaled it on our hoster.
F*CK. The mails won't come out.
My hoster is Hosterope, the best here in germany.
If anybody can help, i would be glad about...

Hi,
the script uses standard mail() PHP function. You will need to contact your hosting company and ask if mail() is disabled or has any restrictions.

Yeah, after changing some big features, finally they got the idea to inform their customers, that they've changed too much...
I have to setup a standard-emailadress, and every script on my server has to use it.
That's so stupid/dumb/whatever, especially when you are hosting multiple domains on one server...

This is an ideal piece of code for my purposes and I applaud you Klemen (I will be donating shortly!).
No bloat, just straight to the point, easily customised and does the job efficiently. However I would agree with Deano about the FAQ section. The only other thing I'm in need of is a FAQ/knowledgebase and if you're planning on adding it soon it would save me a lot of trawling around Google and testing things out.
Oh, and I'd make an additional donation!!
Keep up the good work,
Glynn

Hi,
Well, FAQ/Knowledge base is definitely high on my "to do" list, but as always I cannot give any guarantees as to when and if ti will be added. I have so much other work at the moment that I can hardly find the time to even answer e-mails and posts here
By the way - I don't take donations, for options how to help see

I realised that Klemen, by donation I meant I would be purchasing the copyright removal license. The amount your charging seems more of a donation than a purchase!!!
But as you don't take Paypal I've got to transfer funds from my Paypal account to bank account to make the 'purchase' so it's going to be a couple of days.
