Backslashes

Post by Guest »

Hi Everyone,
Just want to say first that this script was one of the easiest to install and is excellent... thanks!

Only one problem to report. I'm sure this is my server and not in the script. I seem to get a backslash whenever a link is submitted with ' in it.
example (I'm comes out looking like I\'m).

Any help on this would really be a big help.

Thanks!

Hi,

Could be the script, will have a look at it, but don't expect anything sooner than 1 week as I am currently way over my head with work.

Not sure if it's the script or not having the same problem with another script on my website. Just thought you might have heard something about this in the past... Thanks!

I believe it has to do with whether the server has magic_quotes_gpc on or off by default. I didn't find any addslashes() commands in linkmanager though so I don't know how to fix it....

Yes, this was a problem with magic_quotes_gpc, but it has been fixed in the latest version (1.02). Try upgrading to this version and it will be ok.
