The Admin reply displays in the GB fine

Guestbook is very good and useful addition to many web sites. Thanks to Klemen for a great product and to Henrie for the code to hide e-mail addresses. Works a treat!

The admin reply only places a reply in the Guestbook. It does not send a reply to the original poster of the message.

Henrie

Hard to say what's wrong without knowing any details. Have you tried with ORIGINAL gbook.php (don't edit anything inside)? Post a link to your GBook so we can have a look.

Hi Henrie & Klemen,
I've just re-read your first response above. I think that this has answered my query. I thought that "Reply to a post" would mean that an e-mail would be sent to the poster which would be logical as a form of thanks to them. If this is not the case, can this type of response be easily included in the script as I'm sure other users would benefit from good customer relations that this would promote :?:

The original script produces the same result.
