Suggestion for Admin feature upgrade
I think the gbook program is great. Thank you for offering it to us.
Presently I use gbook 1.43 with optional features as listed elsewhere on this site. I am trying to modify gbook 1.5 before uploading it to my server.
I have chosen to hide the e-mail address of the sender, so I have four admin options instead of three. Would it be possible to have less?
In a future version, couldn't they all be incorporated into a single admin function? When you select 'admin', you would have to enter the correct password, and then the next screen would show the full text of the original visitors message with ALL of the known information. Below this could be the reply text box area, and options to block the IP or delete the message. Each option could have a separate button to control the output path back to the confirmation screens.
Even if you can't reduce the admin option choices, being able to view the complete message as you compose a reply would still be a very nice feature.
Thanks again.
