I just installed your nice guestbook and it comes up ok, but because I can't see the security code, I can't get past it. All files were uploaded to the above folder. Thanks...

I can see and get past the image verification, but get this error:

Couldn't open links file (entries.txt) for writing! Please CHMOD all entries.txt to 666 (rw-rw-rw)!

You need to CHMOD file entires.txt to "666" (rw-rw-rw-). If not sure how to do that search the forum for older posts or read http://www.phpjunkyard.com/ftp-chmod-tutorial.php under "CHMOD"

Problem still exists

I was able to sign your guestbook both from Internet Explorer and Firefox. Could be your browser (or some other software on your PC) blocking cookies - what browser are you using?

Can you sign the demo guestbook here:
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/gbook/gbook.php
or not?

I have the exact same version of IE. As I was able to sign your GBook soemthing else must be the problem on your end.

Have you tried clearing browser cache (temporary internet files) and cookies?

If you go to Internet options, under "Privacy" tab what settings have you got? Try "medium".
