Click counter doesn´t work - Warning: fopen(ids.txt):

Warning: fopen(ids.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in d:\inetpub\kasinoking\ccount_kasinoking\index.php on line 183
Can't open the id file (ids.txt) for reading!


What is the problem here? I have follow the help file step by step but the click counter doesn´t work at all.

Well there could be several problems, but can't really know anything without the information you didn't provide. Upload at least the phpinfo file to your server and post a link here. You will find the phpinfo file in the post entitled "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING A NEW QUESTION!!".

ok - but I dont think it works on my webhotel, crystaltech com , but I´ll upload the script again because I háven´t been able to find a better one than this.

Actually I would pay $1000 for a script that worked.

Why pay for something you can get for free :wink: It could have something to do with your PHP or file settings.

Not sure how big your website is, but since you mentioned $1000 I presume it's not that small. You should consider using a script with a MySQL database rather than CCount because text databases are not powerful or secure enough to handle much traffic or a large number of links. Heck, for less than $1000 even I would write you a mySQL version of CCount 8)
