Which hosting company does not have problem using linkman?

I'm thinking of changing my hosting company since goDaddy email and 24/7 support cant seem to be able to help me solve this "Couldn't open links file for appending! Please CHMOD all txt files to 666 (rw-rw-rw)!" error.
If linkman works well with your hosting company, can you please tell me which hosting company you are using? Do include the url to your site too.
Hopefully one that is cheap and reliable. Will greatly appreciate that...
