I set everything as needed per the readme.htm.

I go to the admin all ok when I try to add a link I get the following message. My server is a Windows one. I have tried all three setting with no joy.

Warning: fopen("ids.txt", "wb") - Permission denied in d:\http\rcpattern\clickcounter\index.php on line 183
Can't open the id file (ids.txt) for reading!

I have the software installed in http://www.rcpattern.com/clickcounter

Any help from anyone?

You didn't set the correct file permissions, see
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/ftp-chmod-tutorial.php
under "CHMOD".
