perfect software
just want make one request,
user just can see and submit the ticket for their categories only...
the only one request from me and others user i think

Version 2.3

Hi Klemen,

We work with the 2.2 version of Hesk now and it's really a good product.
Thank you for your great work!

Some ideas for the 2.3 version :
- Possibility to see the owner name of a ticket in the admin main panel.
- Possibility to move a closed ticket to the knowledge database, into a category.
- Possibility to select in the settings the mode of tickets increments.
Randomly as now OR sequential (1,2,3....n) because it's easieur to talk about the ticket number 57 by phone than E8D1ZV5ZQ9 ;)

Thus the product will be near the perfection for us....

Hello David,

Thanks for suggestions, will definitely be considered for 2.3. And I will make sure development of 2.3 doesn't take as long as it did from 2.1 to 2.2 ;-)

I'm trying to do anything as an admin: delete tickets, assign tickets, change username, etc...
Unfortunately, every attempt yields the same result: "Invalid request"
Is it the permissions? I thought I did everything correct in the installation. My email pipe is successfully adding tickets, but I can't do anything as an admin.

Are you 100% sure you have the latest final version installed (2.2)? That error would appear if you used a mixture of old (pre 2.2) and new files.

Try downloading latest Hesk again and upload all the files except hesk_settings.inc.php and header/footer.txt again.

If that doesn't work please open a new topic as this one was reserved for the beta version of Hesk 2.2

I realized that after re-installing the 2.2 version and running through the test parameters and files that the darned permissions weren't working AGAIN! All seems to be well in help-desk land now!

Thanks for that :)

I'm in the process of modding the new 2.2 version to mirror my 2.1 installation and so far the front-end (customer facing bit) is all finished - just adding the final touches to the admin section as I type this.

Once I have finished I'll open a new topic and post some screenshots with descriptions of changes made - and of course as this is open source I'll post any code changes for folk that want it ;)
