Funny, here where I'm from (Slovenia, European Union) we also have anti-spam laws and almost zero national SPAM, but I still get 20+ spam e-mails daily (mostly mortgage, pharmacy, phising and "you've won the lottery" kind of spam). My SPAM filter does filter out the majority, but I still check the SPAM folder from time to time as it tends to put some non-spam messages there.

Yea I know of some cases in the US where people actually got to the court, but have you heard of any say in Russia? Or Korea?

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the countries I mentioned, in fact I have also a number of good customers from them and blocking entire countries just couse a small number of people abuse the net is of course not the answer.

I'm doing business globally, my scripts are available globally and I like to filter out SPAM myself as I wouldn't want my ISP to filter out some non-spam messages which I then never would receive.

Anyway, this thread has gone far from it's topic :wink:
