Edit a ticket in 3.6.4

Post by bastiaan.c »

1: Create new ticket
2: + Add new customer
3: + Add CC
DONE

1: Edit ticket on the right top
2: Missing to "edit the email-address that is wrong > I could go to customers > But it won't ... change?
3: Missing the + add Follower when editing the ticket because I want to add a follower after it was submitted

I checked the demo. This is default behavior, but it feels like it is wrong, as if it is a bug. Am I missing a setting, maybe?

Thanks for all you do :-)

Changes to customers must be on the "Customers" page now. When you update the email there, it is automatically updated for the ticket.

Instead of "Edit ticket", click on the customer name and click "Edit customer".

You can add Followers in the "Edit ticket" page, but make sure you have "Ticket followers" enabled in Admin panel > Settings > Help desk (followers are disabled in the demo).

I think you mean: "Allow tickets to have multiple customers"
That is enabled, but then when I edit a ticket it is not showing. I must be misunderstanding. I mean "+ Add Follower"

Also, How would I know which customer:
- has registered
- and is actively logging in?
if I let them, allow them, to register without approving them (Customers can register accounts)

When creating a ticket on behalf of an employee, the "Subscribers" field is available.
When creating a ticket on behalf of a client, there is an "Add CC" button.

When editing a ticket, the "Subscribers" field is also available.

I don't understand what the problem is.

For me the "Followers" field is visible on the Edit ticket page? Maybe something is missing in your files/modifications?

There is currently no display of that, but will be improved in future updates. We followed the "release first, make perfect later" principle with customer accounts :D

For me too, but not the "+ Add Follower" which is actually visible when you add a new ticket.

Ah, you mean to create a new follower, not to add an existing one (would be easier to understand from the start if you posted a screenshot and marked it)? That's not there on the edit ticket page, no. Something to improve.
