Wishlist - Email support not using PHP mail()

These days with bad email and blacklists more and more servers are turning off the (not so secure) PHP mail() I would like to see the inclusion of the smtp port number and username and password within the script.

This is definitely something that needs to be added, but honestly I don't plan on any GBook updates soon.

For a quick solution your best bet would be to hire a developer to modify the code to use authenticated SMTP instead.
