Deleted old staff - undo unassignment?

Hi there, I foolishly deleted two staff members who are no longer with us

I understand from reading the other forum post, that you can disable unassignment on deletion and have them assigned to someone else on deletion but I've already deleted the users

Is there anyway of getting them reassigned again.... a large number of my enquiries now say replied by "staff"

I tried recreating the users in the hope it would fix it but no!

Unfortunately no - when a user is deleted, they are also removed from assigned tickets.

The only way to fix it would be if you had a backup of the database from before deleting the users.
