Hello Amanda,

After a number of tests I was able to identify the problem - it seems that PHP 5.3.0 has problems with the crypt() function (at least on Windows). I modified the GBook files to use some other hashing algorithm instead (sha1).

Technical details aside, please download GBook again and upload these modified files to your server:
- gbook.php
- print_sec_img.php
- secimg.inc.php

Then close all browser windows, open your guestbook again and see if that helped.

Hi Klemen

I have downloaded GBook again and uploaded the 3 modified files the way you said.
The GuestBook works perfectly now. You have created a very great guestbook and the interface looks very nice too !
I am very happy with my guestbook. Please allow me to express what a great help this has been.

Amanda
