Great script. One problem: the header and footer don't show up when you click on the individual posts. Here is an example:
http://www.lookgreatnaked.com/board/msg/1.html
The script works fine on mboard. Here is the link so you can see the difference:

Any help is greatly appreciated

Message board modifications
I'm glad that you figured it out, but I have been on this for weeks and I'm pulling my hair out. The website I'm creating is a fun small town community website. I wanted to have a message board. I downloaded the program and installed it and it works great! I just can't get it within my "container" or "wrapper" what ever you choose to call it.
The website is www.lancasterontario.ca if anyone would like to check it out. I need the script to be within my page style, almost exactly the same layout as the "Look Great Naked.com" website. I can't figure out how to get the mboard script to appear within my "maincontent" div tag, for one and I definitely can't get the "post a reply" page to appear within my page design. Same issue as the gentleman above.
I have tried modifying the mboardphp script, I have tried just changing the style.css to my own, nothing is working! I NEED HELP PLEASE. I'm fairly new at this php script stuff, so please bare with me!
Someone please help?
Thank you

You shouldn't be editing mboard.php directly, but rather add code to the header/footer.txt files. Note also that any changes you make will only be visible on the main page and in new posts, old posts will remain unchanged.
These are the guidelines, but I can't help with HTML code.

Ok I understand that I can't edit the mboard.php file directly now, since that is what I've been trying to do for weeks, but still had problems. It was the only way I got any results though. My header is a flash header and when I pasted the code into the header.txt file, nothing changed on the message board pages. I'm new at this. Am I missing something? Is this really an easy thing and I'm thinking it's super complicated and making it more complicated than it is? Like do I put my container, header, sidebar1, maincontent, div's into the header.txt file? Then do the same thing for the footer.txt file, but don't put in the header div tag, instead put in the footer div tag? I'm so confused.
Any changes you make will only be visible on the main page and in new posts, old posts will remain unchanged. So when you make a change to the header file make sure you post a new topic to see the result.
But when it comes to whether the HTML code is correct or on the correct spot that is not something I can help with.
